Arrest made: October 6th, 2017
Outcome: Kylr Yust went to trial for murdering both Kara and Jessica Runions in 2021. He was found guilty of manslaughter in Kara's case and guilty of second-degree murder in Jessica's case. Yust was later sentenced to life in prison plus 15 years.

Arrest made: Same day
Outcome: Jennifer's husband, Beau Rothwell, went to trial in April of 2022 and was ultimately found guilty of first-degree murder. He was later sentenced to life in prison.
