The Disappearance & Death of Harley Dilly

Harley Dilly has been missing since December 20th, 2019. The 14 year-old boy vanished after leaving his family's Port Clinton, Ohio home to walk to school. The surveillance image on the right was captured between 6am and 7am on the morning of Harley's disappearance. This is the last known sighting of Harley. He never arrived at school and has not been seen or heard from again.

The search for Harley has been widespread. Law enforcement agencies have reportedly searched approximately 150 acres surrounding the area where Harley was last seen. The searches included canine search & rescue teams and helicopters, but unfortunately no significant clues were found. However, investigators did state that they did not find any evidence that Harley was abducted. Investigators also initially stated that they were treating Harley's disappearance as a runaway, but they are still concerned for his safety.

At this time, there has been very little information shared about why investigators think Harley might have run away. Harley's mother reportedly told police that Harley asked if he could stay home from school that morning because he was not feeling well, but she denied his request. Still, it is unclear if that would prompt Harley to not return home.

Since his disappearance, Harley's family members have made numerous public pleas for Harley's safe return. An official statement from the family appealed to Harley directly by stating, "Harley if you hear/read this, please come home we miss you, your family misses you. You are not in trouble. We love you."

There is a $7000 reward being offered for information that could lead to Harley's safe return. If you have any information, please contact the Port Clinton Police Department at (419)-734-312.

UPDATE (1/14/20): Harley's body has been found.

Police stated that they searched a vacant house in Port Clinton, where they found his jacket and glasses on the second floor. From there, police searched the chimney, where they found Harley's body. It is believed that Harley got trapped into the chimney on accident, however police have not stated why they think he entered the chimney. The investigation is ongoing.

Rest in peace, Harley.

The Disappearance of Andrew Mayorga

Andrew Mayorga was only 17 years-old when he vanished on January 4th, 2007. Around the time of his disappearance, Andrew was going through some major changes in his life. He had been living in Washington state with his mother, but recently decided to move to Louisiana to live with his grandmother.

On his way across the country, Andrew stopped in San Antonio, Texas to spend the holiday season with a family friend who Andrew referred to as his “honorary grandfather.” That family friend was well known to both Andrew’s mother and grandmother. Both had worked for the man’s law firm in San Antonio, and while Andrew was staying with him, he worked at the law firm as well.

Andrew and his grandmother reportedly spoke on the phone each day since his arrival in San Antonio. The day before he vanished, Andrew’s grandmother decided to drive from Louisiana to San Antonio to come pick him up. Unfortunately, Andrew disappeared before his grandmother arrived.

The family friend he was staying with told Andrew’s grandmother that he checked Andrew’s bedroom the evening of January 3rd to see if the teen was in bed, and he was not. It is unknown if Andrew left the house through the door or a window. According to San Antonio detective Courtney Weytrich, “it’s unknown how he actually walked away and disappeared from that location.”

Andrew vanishes suspiciously.

Andrew’s grandmother stated that Andrew left behind “everything that was important to him,” including his wallet, clothing, and even his pet dog. He was spotted for the last time around 7:30 AM on January 4th, standing on the corner of Soledad and Travis near Travis Park; an area he frequented.

Due to the fact that Andrew left all of his important items and his beloved dog at the house where he was staying, it appeared that he intended to return there. He never did and has never been seen or heard from again. Andrew was later reported missing.

Suspicions about the 'honorary grandfather'.

While working at the 'honorary grandfather's' law firm, Andrew had access to a computer that he also used to access his MySpace page. Andrew’s grandmother was aware of this and suggested that the computer’s hard drive be searched for possible clues. However, before it could be searched, the honorary grandfather threw the computer away.

While this seems quite suspicious, especially since it is still unclear how Andrew left the man’s house, investigators have not named this man as a suspect. In fact, both investigators and family members have stated that they believe it is possible that Andrew left on his own accord.

Investigator's runaway theories.

Detective Weytrich put forth a few theories, stating, “we’re thinking that he met somebody during his walks downtown. [Or] he met somebody on MySpace, since MySpace was an outlet to other states, other areas. We don’t know if he met somebody, and they provided a plane ticket or a bus ticket to leave San Antonio. Being 17, the airlines and the bus stations will not ID or question you for leaving. You can come and go as you please on the airlines and buses if that’s your choice of transportation.”

For unknown reasons, the honorary grandfather Andrew was staying with in San Antonio has not been publicly identified. Despite the fact that he vanished under seemingly suspicious circumstances, Andrew is still considered a runaway to this day.

Hope for answers.

Andrew’s family members hope that somebody with potential information could come forward and help bring Andrew home. If you have any information that could help, please contact SAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.

The Disappearance of Diamond Bynum and King Walker

Diamond Bynum (21) and her nephew King Walker (2) have been missing since July 25th, 2015. Prior to their disappearance, Diamond had recently moved from Hammond to Gary, Indiana. She lived with her father Eugene and stepmother Suzanne, while King - the son of Diamond's sister - also lived in Gary with his mother, Ariana Walker.

On the morning Diamond and King vanished, King was dropped off at Diamond's father's house so he could spend the day with his grandparents and his aunt. A few hours after King's arrival, Suzanne and King took a nap. When Suzanne awoke from her nap around 11:00 AM, both King and Diamond were gone.

It was initially believed that Diamond had taken King for a walk. Diamond enjoyed taking walks and did so often when her family lived in Hammond. However, Diamond was still fairly new to Gary at this point, so she was not as familiar with the area. This immediately concerned family members, as Diamond has a genetic disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome which causes her cognitive development to be delayed.

According to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA), the disorder is "typically characterized by low muscle tone, short stature, incomplete sexual development, cognitive disabilities, behavioral problems, and the hallmark characteristics – chronic feelings of insatiable hunger and a slowed metabolism that can lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity." Diamond's family members stated that Diamond reportedly has the mental capacity of a seven-year-old.

After briefly searching for Diamond and King, Suzanne called authorities to report them missing. A large-scale search ensued with numerous volunteers, but nothing of importance was found. Additionally, investigators received tips stating that Diamond and King were seen together at a local gas station. Those leads were pursued, but investigators unfortunately came up empty. Then, local sex offenders were investigated, and it was announced that police wanted to question a person of interest--but nothing ever came of that, either. Since then, tips have reportedly been far and few in between.

Diamond and King remain missing today. Their family members are desperately hoping for closure in the case. If you have any information that could lead to Diamond and/or King's whereabouts, please contact the Gary Police Department at 219-881-1260.

The Disappearance and Murder of Karissa & Billy Fretwell

UPDATE (6/17/19): On June 15th, 2019, investigators found the bodies of Karissa and Billy in a wooded area located west of the city of Yamhill. An autopsy has determined that Karissa died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Billy’s cause and manner of death have not been determined. Michael Wolfe is still behind bars as his charges are pending.

Rest in Peace, Karissa & Billy.

--
UPDATE (5/26/19): Michael John Wolfe (52) has been arrested and charged with the murders of Karissa and Billy. Michael is Billy's father, and he was arrested by police in Portland, Oregon. Karissa and Michael were having an affair years earlier, and at some point, Karissa got pregnant. Michael wanted Karissa to have an abortion, but she reportedly refused. Michael had no plans to leave his wife, but as the father of Karissa's child, he co-signed the lease to Karissa's apartment.

Months before the disappearance of Karissa and Billy, Karissa had requested child support from Michael, and the judge granted her request. Karissa and Michael were also reportedly at odds over custody of Billy. He was an immediate suspect in their disappearances, and he is currently behind bars awaiting court proceedings.

Original post:

Karissa Fretwell (25) and her son William ‘Billy’ Fretwell (3) were last heard from on May 13th, 2019. The young mother and son live in Salem, Oregon, and they were reported missing on May 17th, 2019, after family members had not heard from them for quite a few days. Karissa’s family members are unaware of any plans she had to leave, and they do not think she would be out-of-touch for this long by choice.

One of Karissa’s neighbors told reporters that he heard some disturbing noises coming from Karissa’s apartment in the months leading up to their disappearance. The neighbor explained, “We heard a man and woman arguing incredibly loud. The man was swearing a lot and there was a kid crying in the background, and the woman was yelling at him to get out of her apartment.’” At this time, the person who Karissa was allegedly arguing with has not been publicly identified. The same neighbor who heard the argument happened to run into a woman who stated she was Karissa’s sister shortly before Karissa and Billy vanished. The woman asked the neighbor if she had seen Karissa and/or Billy--he said no, but he offered to keep an eye on their apartment in case they turn up. The neighbor is able to see Karissa’s TV screen through the window, and he told investigators that he noticed the screen has been stuck on the same setting since before the pair vanished--which indicates that nobody has been inside that apartment in quite some time.

Family members and members of the community are worried for the safety of both Karissa and Billy. The Salem Police Department is investigating. If you have any information that could lead to their whereabouts, please contact authorities at (503) 588-8477.
