Kaitlynn Munson has been missing since January 21st, 2019. She was only 14 years-old when she vanished, but she had already been through many hardships in her life. Kaitlynn's parents both passed away, leaving her in the care of the state of Washington since she was just 11 years old. At the time of her disappearance, Kaitlynn was living at the Spruce Street Inn, a group home for at-risk youth in Seattle.
On the day she went missing, Kaitlynn walked away from the group home and never returned. Shortly after she was reported missing, there were various sightings of her around the Seattle area - but these sightings were never confirmed. Since then, there have been no other reported sightings of Kaitlynn.
It is believed that Kaitlynn left the group home voluntarily, however due to her young age and developmental disabilities, she is considered to be at risk. She is described as 5'8" and approximately 120 lbs. When she vanished, she had brown hair and wore glasses.
The picture on the right is an age-progressed photo and may reflect what Kaitlynn looks like today. If you have seen her or have any other information that could lead to her whereabouts, please contact the Seattle Police Department at 206-625-5011.
