Davohnte Morgan has been missing since May 5th, 2020. The then-28-year-old vanished while on a trip to Mount Shasta, California with his girlfriend. The couple was staying in a hotel in Mount Shasta when they got into an argument. According to Davohnte's girlfriend, she broke up with him as a result of the argument. Later, his girlfriend took a walk and passed by Davohnte, but the two did not speak. Davohnte never returned to their hotel room, nor did he ever return to his home in the Bay Area. He has never been seen or heard from again.
After Davohnte was reported missing, investigators learned that he was captured by multiple different surveillance cameras as he walked around Mount Shasta on the morning of May 5th. The cameras reportedly captured him walking around several places downtown--but the footage has otherwise not provided any clues as to where Davohnte ended up. His bank accounts have not been used since that day, nor has his cell phone.
On March 12th, 2021, a post about Davohnte's disappearance was published to a forum on ewucrew.com. The website is dedicated to a YouTube channel called "Explore With Us", which primarily focuses on unsolved mysteries and true crime. The user who posted to the forum included details about Davohnte's case that have not been disclosed in any mainstream media articles about his disappearance. The post reads, in part, "The day after he went missing his girlfriend posted many Instagram videos saying very crazy things such as “we’re having a party tonight for my friend Karma and Vohnte is going to be there”. The girlfriend also gave his belongings away the day after he went missing." If these details are true, it obviously raises questions about Davohnte's girlfriend--however, she has not been named a suspect in the case at this time; nor has she been publicly identified.
The post on ewucrew.com also states that Davohnte has a childhood friend who lives in Mount Shasta who also might be withholding information about the case. "The friend knew the parents of Vohnte since he’s very young and he not try contact them to them he went missing," the post reads. "When Vohnte’s parents knocked on the door the childhood friend answered. The friend’s girlfriend stated “Davohnte is dead". Despite these details, the post also states that the police do not suspect Davohnte's girlfriend or the childhood friend.
The details in this post have not been corroborated by police or the media, and there is otherwise very little other information available about Davohnte's case. He remains missing today. If you have any information that could lead to his whereabouts, please contact MSPD at (530) 926-7540.
There is no way that his girlfriend is not involved with his disappearance. PERIOD!
