The Murder of Princess Hosang

Princess Hosang (26) mysteriously vanished in Lake Park, Florida on September 25th, 2015. Days later, her body was found in a field behind a local church. Princess' murder is still unsolved to this day.

Before her death, Princess and her three children were living in Lake Park with Princess' mother, Patricia Carithers. Patricia first noticed something was wrong on the morning of Saturday, September 25th, when she went outside to water the grass. At the end of the driveway, Patricia found Princess' cell phone laying on the ground.

Patricia then went inside to check Princess' bedroom. All of Princess' personal belongings were there, but Princess herself was nowhere to be found. It appeared that Princess had vanished overnight. She was reported missing shortly thereafter.

Both Princess' family members and investigators spent the following days searching and distributing missing persons fliers. On September 30th, 2015, investigators were searching and distributing fliers near a church on the 900 block of Roan Lane when they found human remains in a field behind the building. Those remains were later identified as that of Princess Hosang.

Princess was found just two blocks away from her home. A cause of death has never been publicly revealed; however, her manner of death was classified as a homicide.

To this day, no arrests have been made in the case - however, there a few potential persons of interest. According to Patricia, Princess was dealing with a stalker in the months leading up to her death. After Patricia found Princess' phone, she noticed that a certain number called Princess numerous times.

Patricia explained to reporters, "there was a phone number that kept calling her every 5 minutes. And it started at 6:30 Friday night, the last call from that number was at 12:30 Saturday morning." It is believed that Princess vanished from the home shortly after that final phone call. Additionally, there are many documented instances of domestic abuse between Princess and the father of her children. It is unclear if investigators consider him to be a suspect.

Princess' case remains open and unsolved. If you have any information that could help the investigation, please call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS.

    2. This is Patricia Carithers. Princess’s mother. How can I do a documentary on Princess’s life and death? Especially her unsolved murder.

  2. why is it “unclear” if they classify him as a suspect due to the fact of the numerous documentation of the domestic violence cases this was my mother she’s gone i’ll never be able to see her again she’ll never see her grandkids see me or my brothers graduate see us grow up into adults this is heartbreaking i wish her case would be actively worked on so we can atleast have some justice and an arrest it’s heartbreaking

To clarify on the 'unclear' sentence - there are no documented news stories that classify him as a suspect. If he is a suspect, that has not been reported. Do I think he is a suspect? Absolutely, but it's not up to me.

I really really hope for justice in this case. This is so awful and I wish the police would pay more attention too. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
