The Disappearance of Diane Fields

Diane Fields vanished under suspicious circumstances during November 2014. The 44-year-old woman lived in East Dublin, Georgia at the time of her disappearance. The last person to reportedly see Diane was her live-in fiancé, who told police that he saw her on the morning of November 6th.

According to the fiancé, Diane did not go to work that day because she was not feeling well. He still went to his respective job that day - and when he came home, he reportedly found a frightening scene: the back door to their house was kicked in, one of the bedrooms was in disarray, and a knife was laying on the floor of their hallway. Diane was nowhere to be found. However, all of her personal belongings were still inside the house. Diane has never been seen or heard from again.

Diane's fiancé told police that he believed somebody had broken into their home. When investigators arrived to search the home, they noticed that the scene appeared to be staged. One of the detectives told reporters that the back door was broken, but it appeared to be broken out - as if someone had kicked it from inside the home. Additionally, there was no blood or no other signs of a struggle found inside the house.

Although Diane's fiancé stated that he last saw Diane on the morning of November 6th, it appears that nobody else had seen her since November 4th, two days before her reported disappearance. Investigators describe the fiancé as a "great person of interest" in Diane's case, but he has not been arrested or charged with anything related to her disappearance at this time.

Diane remains missing today. If you have any information that could lead to her whereabouts, please contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigations at 478-374-6988 or go here to submit an anonymous tip.
