The Disappearance of Robin Monique Ellis

Robin Monique Ellis (37) has been missing since December 7th, 2003. She was last seen around 5pm at her job at Woodland Village Pizza in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Robin was set to deliver four separate pizza orders that evening. It has been confirmed that she delivered at least one of them, however the other deliveries were never confirmed and she never returned to the pizza parlor. Two days later, the car Robin was driving was found abandoned on northbound Highway 95. There was no sign of a struggle or foul play at the scene, but there was no sign of Robin, either. She has never been seen or heard from again.

After she was reported missing, both investigators and Robin’s family members theorized that Robin may have been harmed by one of her customers. However, investigators are not sure if she was harmed by a customer from Woodland Village Pizza. It was rumored that Robin was also working illegally as an unlicensed cab driver around the time of her disappearance. Police have theorized that this particular job might have put Robin in harm’s way. This was not the only potential theory, though. Robin’s Philadelphia home was only burglarized twice prior to this disappearance, and police are also still unsure if those crimes are related to her disappearance.

Robin’s family members have never thought she voluntarily went missing, as it would be uncharacteristic for her to be out-of-touch with her son. Her case remains unsolved. If you have any information that could lead to Robin’s whereabouts, please contact the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-685-3258.
