Trang Huyen Tran has been missing since April 5th, 2015. That day, the then-32-year-old woman went shopping with her mother in Midwest City, Oklahoma. During their shopping trip, Trang mentioned that she had plans to meet up with someone at 5:00 PM that evening. After parting ways with her mother, Trang's family never saw or heard from her again.
Trang was reported missing the following day by a co-worker after she did not show up at her job. Her absence at work immediately raised red flags, as she was reportedly a very reliable employee. Investigators went to Trang's residence in Oklahoma and found her vehicle parked in its normal spot. Her personal items and pets were left in her apartment. However, Trang herself was nowhere to be found.
Family members describe Trang as a private and introverted person. She was reportedly pregnant at the time of her disappearance, but her family did not know about the pregnancy until after she was reported missing. The father of her child has not been publicly identified. Trang also did not tell her mother who she planned to meet up with on the evening of her disappearance. As such, Trang's family has little clues about what might have happened to her.
Years have passed, and very little information about Trang's case is available. Her page on Charley Project states that "she may be traveling with a Caucasian male named Tyson," but it is unclear where that information originated. Trang's case was eventually handed over to homicide detectives.
