The Disappearance of Devin Atkinson

Devin Atkinson has been missing since September 19th, 2022. The then-31-year-old man was last seen near his home in Richmond, Virginia. According to reports, Devin left his home, located in the 1000 block of Newkirk Drive, around 12:00 PM on the day of his disappearance. He never returned home and has never been seen or heard from again. 

It is believed that Devin was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe when he left the residence. Other than that, he seemingly left behind all of his other personal items. A report from December 2022 states that Devin did not have a cell phone, and all of his clothes were left at home. Devin also left behind a young daughter, who was only 5 years-old at the time of her father's disappearance.

Devin's loved ones do not believe he would voluntarily abandon his daughter or his other family members. Prior to vanishing, Devin reportedly "had a disagreement with another family member that was weighing heavy on his heart." However, police are unsure if this plays a role in his disappearance. 

Initial reports about Devin's disappearance state that he has a medical condition that caused increased concern for his safety. Said medical condition has not been publicly disclosed. It is unknown if this condition possibly plays a role in his disappearance as well. 

There is otherwise very little information available about the investigation into Devin's case. The vehicle he was driving vanished with him and has never been recovered. The car is described as "a gray 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with the Virginia license plate number TVS4216."
