Elsa Murillo-Ferrera has been missing since March 11th, 2022. The then-42-year-old was last seen leaving Washlandia Laundromat in Houston, Texas. Surveillance footage from the laundromat shows Elsa finishing up her laundry and exiting the building. She left in her vehicle and never returned home. Elsa has not been seen or heard from again.

Elsa's children describe her as a dedicated mother who would never leave her family behind. When her children did not hear from her, they filed a missing person's report on March 12th, 2022. Once the investigation began, the surveillance footage of Elsa driving away from the laundromat was discovered.
Days later, Elsa's car was located at a local impound lot. Her children learned it had been towed there from an apartment complex approximately 15 miles away from the laundromat. There did not appear to be any signs of foul play in or around the car. Elsa's freshly folded laundry was still inside the vehicle.
According to reports, Elsa's children do not know how or why their mother's car ended up at that apartment complex. It is unknown if Elsa has any connections to that area. The discovery of the vehicle appears to be the last known trace of Elsa; her whereabouts now still remain a mystery.
Both the Houston Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating Elsa's disappearance. If you have any information that could lead to her whereabouts, please contact authorities at 832-394-1840 or 800-346-3243.
