Jennifer Mbugua has been missing since May 27th, 2014. The then-31-year-old was last seen by a neighbor outside of her apartment building in Fall River, Massachusetts. The neighbor reportedly saw Jennifer sitting inside her Toyota Camry and looking through some papers. This is the last known sighting of Jennifer, and she has never been seen or heard from again.
The following day, Jennifer's car was found abandoned behind a gas station Route 1 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The car's keys and one of Jennifer's sandals were found in a dumpster at the gas station. However, there was no sign of Jennifer anywhere on the scene. Various reports state that the car was left there at some point between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM that morning, but it is unclear if anyone saw Jennifer herself with the car during those hours.
It does not appear that Jennifer intended to vanish. All of her personal items, including her wallet and driver's license, were found inside her car. Jennifer's family members fear she was abducted. Her family initially hired a private investigator to help with the search, but eventually had to stop utilizing the investigator's services due to the price.
