The Disappearance of Jadekiss McNeal

Jadekiss McNeal was only 13 years-old when she vanished from Pensacola, Florida. According to her family, Jadekiss was last seen at her grandmother's house on December 21st, 2015. However, there are discrepancies about the date she was reported missing. Local law enforcement has claimed that Jadekiss was actually not reported missing until three months later, on March 15th, 2016 - after a welfare check was conducted at her grandmother's house.

Prior to her disappearance, Jadekiss and her older sister Jasmine Forney moved in with their grandmother after their mother passed away. Jasmine is reportedly one of the last people to see Jadekiss before she vanished. She said that she saw Jadekiss go outside to sit on her grandmother's porch on the evening of December 21st, 2015, but unfortunately, she never came back inside.

Other reports state that Jadekiss was also seen later that evening on north L Street near Maxwell Street - located just a quarter mile away from her grandmother's home. She was reportedly accompanied by an unidentified man. Jadekiss has never been seen or heard from again.

According to family members, a mysterious bag appeared on the grandmother's porch ten days later. The bag reportedly contained several cell phones and some of Jadekiss' clothes. Jadekiss' family said that they reported her missing on December 21st, and they contacted authorities about the bag as soon as it was found as well. As previously stated, though, there are some discrepancies to this--since authorities claim she was not reported missing until March 2016.

Authorities also stated that the bag containing the cell phones and Jadekiss' clothes was not turned over to them until 2018. By this point, Jadekiss' family had contacted Milton Search and Rescue to assist with finding her. It was a member of this nonprofit who ended up turning over the bag to authorities in 2018.

Authorities said that when they questioned Jadekiss' grandmother about the bag, she told them that the clothes inside the bag were old. However, Jadekiss' family members have stated that the clothes in the bag were actually the clothes Jadekiss was wearing when she disappeared. It's unclear what, if any, other evidence was found when the bag was processed.

Jadekiss' case remains unsolved and open. If you have any information that could lead to her whereabouts, please contact Crimestoppers at 433-STOP or Milton Search and Rescue at 850-889-2492.
