Jerrica Lizette Laws (24) has been missing since August 17th, 2015. That day, she left her family’s house in Park Forest, Illinois to take a walk on the trails behind the home - something her family members said she did regularly. However, this time, Jerrica never returned home. She has never been seen or heard from again. Jerrica's family reported her missing the following day.
Although Jerrica was in her early 20s at the time of her disappearance, Park Forest Police Deputy Paul Morache stated that “Jerrica was not your typical 24-year-old.” She did not enjoy partying; she was a homebody and regular churchgoer. Jerrica’s family members have also said that Jerrica suffers from an “undiagnosed mental disability”, but they have not elaborated on what the disability is or if they think it played a role in her disappearance.
There are very few other details available about Jerrica’s case. She remains missing today. Her family is pleading for anybody with possible information about Jerrica to come forward. If you have any information that could help, please contact the Park Forest Police Department at 708-748-1309 or submit a tip to the FBI.
