Tereina Jones vanished in Phoenix, Arizona five years ago today. The then-21-year-old vanished after leaving a local hospital. Tereina's loved ones never saw or heard from her again.
Nearly a year later, in August 2018, remains were found in desert area near 11th Street and Alameda Road. It took months for the remains to be identified, but in April 2019 they were positively identified as that of Tereina Jones. Her exact cause of death has never been revealed, but her manner of death is labeled a homicide.
No arrests have been made, nor have any suspects or persons of interest been publicly identified. There have been very few reports about Tereina's case in the media.
