Yesenia Duval-Del Rosario has been missing since October 14th, 2010. The then 19-year-old vanished during a day trip to Hollywood Beach in Florida. Yesenia went to the beach that day with her family members. At some point during the day, she told her cousin she was going to get ice cream on the boardwalk. Yesenia never returned and has never been seen or heard from again.
Yesenia does not have a history of running away, nor did she make any indication that she planned to do so. She also does not have a criminal record or any known associations to criminal activity. Investigators reportedly did not find any immediate signs of foul play, but they also did not find any evidence that she vanished on her own accord. Yesenia's family members immediately found her disappearance worrisome - and they feel that the case has not received proper attention from law enforcement or the media.
There is very little other information available about Yesenia's case. Some reports state that she broke up with her boyfriend shortly before she vanished, but it's unclear if investigators believe this is related to her disappearance. No suspects or persons of interest have ever been publicly named.
