Ivory Green was only 17 years-old when she vanished on March 6th, 2004. The teen was last seen walking towards her home in Utica, New York. She called her mother while she was walking to let her know that she was coming home for dinner. Ivory never arrived at home as planned and has never been seen or heard from again.
Ivory had run away from home in the past, so she was initially classified as a runaway when she was first reported missing. However, two months after she vanished, Ivory’s mother received a phone call from a distant relative named Plummer Reed Jr., who said that he knew why Ivory was missing and he wanted to share what happened. But before he could, he was shot three times and the phone line went dead. Plummer’s cousin, Benji Reed, was later arrested for attempted murder, and another man was arrested for supplying Benji with the gun.
Plummer survived the shooting, but ever since he has denied knowing any information about Ivory’s disappearance. It is unclear if police suspect that the shooting is related to Ivory’s disappearance. At this point, police do believe that foul play was involved in her case. In fact, in 2007, police announced that they believe that Ivory was murdered. Ivory was reportedly involved with various drug dealers in the Utica area before her disappearance. It is believed that Ivory willingly went with a drug dealer somewhere, and that person ended up hurting her. Police believe that they know what happened, and they also know the people who are responsible. However, nobody has been charged with anything related to Ivory’s case.
Ivory remains missing today. If you have any information that could lead to her whereabouts, please contact the Utica City Police Department at 315-735-330.

ReplyDeleteWhat’s the real story? This is the info on Charley Project. The author of this website is willing to make changes. I’ve spoken to them about inaccuracies on another case (which was also inaccurately being spread on other news sites) and they were happy to make the changes. They get their info online so if the info online is false, they will need someone to reach out and let them know the truth.
