Jamie Jo Travis vanished at the age of 27 on August 30th, 2005. The young woman was last seen at the Taft Homes public housing complex in Peoria, Illinois. She disappeared at some point during the evening and has never been seen or heard from again.
According to The Doe Network, Jamie spoke on the phone to a friend on the night of her disappearance. Said friend offered her a ride home after he was done with work at 10:30 PM. However, when the friend later drove to Madison Street to pick her up, Jamie was nowhere to be found.
Additional details about Jamie's disappearance are unknown. Online records and reports indicate that she was struggling with drug addiction at the time she vanished. Various reports state that she was pregnant at the time of her disappearance as well.
Nearly two decades have passed, and Jamie's disappearance remains an unsolved cold case. Both the Cook County Sheriff's Office and the Peoria Police Department have been listed as investigators in the case.
